Our goal is to help farmers conserve resources, improve yields, and level the playing field for historically disadvantaged agricultural producers.
Collaboration is at the heart of this effort. Langston Hub is proud to partner with the Minority Tech Foundation, a trailblazer in advancing technology for social equity. Together, we’ve teamed up with the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a leading HBCU driving smart agriculture forward.

As we continue working alongside USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, we’re optimistic about expanding this initiative to reach more farmers and make a lasting impact on conservation and equity in agriculture.

John Mercer Langston was a trailblazer in American history, breaking barriers as the first African American elected to public office in 1855 and later serving as the first Black congressman from Virginia. A dedicated abolitionist, he recruited Black soldiers during the Civil War and fought tirelessly against slavery and segregation. Langston also founded the law department at Howard University, shaping future generations of Black legal professionals. His legacy of leadership and advocacy continues to inspire.
